The mission statement for the Valley Kids is "Come, Meet Jesus. Go, Tell His Story." Every class, every field trip, every craft and activity centers around this mission statement. Our goal is for each child to meet Jesus, know His love, and then tell others the Story. In a variety of age-appropriate activities our Valley Kids meet friends, have a fun time, and most important of all, they meet Jesus! Newborns through 5th graders have a place with the Valley Kids. All of our CCV Staff, teachers, volunteers and caregivers are screened and have been through a security background check. The safety and protection of each child is of the highest priority.
Wee Ones
- Mommie's Suite
We provide a comfy room for new mommies and their babies to be together during the worship service. Rocking chairs, changing stations and toys enhance the Mommie's Suite which is located at the east end of the worship center lobby. The Mommie's Suite is audio and video equipped.
- Nursery
Once Mom and Dad are ready for Baby to be a part of our Nursery, we have an awesome staff of caregivers who provide a safe and loving environment for their wee ones. Pagers are given to the parents to alert them in the event the child needs mommy or daddy.
- Toddlers/Walkers
Toddlers and Walkers have their very own Sunday School class! They are at the age of discovery and we want them to discover Jesus! The simple stories, music and activities introduce them to Jesus with work they understand. Pagers are given to the parents to alert them in the event the child needs mommy or daddy.
Bible School & Kid Worship
Classes for pre-school through fifth grades are offered during both the 8:45 and 10:30 services. Solid Bible teaching in an age-appropriate format, interactive music, prayer, fun crafts, tasty snacks and seasonal activities help them explore God's Word.
Our Valley Kids love to worship God! Our Kids Worship often includes object lessons, drama, puppets, and of course music! Periodically, a family worship experience is designed for the entire family to worship together in the main worship center. Those Sundays are announced in advance and children sit with their parents for a kid-friendly worship service.
Check-In & Check-Out Process
The safety and security of the children on our campus are primary. Each classroom has a table at the entry point with a clipboard for the parent or guardian to sign in your child.
The parents of the Nursery and Walker children will be given a numbered pager to alert the parent if baby needs mommy or daddy. This pager also serves as the security tag. Return the pager when you check-out your wee one. Baby is released only to the adult with the pager.
When parents of pre-schoolers through 5th graders check in their child at the appropriate classroom, they receive a numbered bookmark tag & clip badge. The parent keeps the bookmark tag; the clip badge is attached to child’s shirt. The child is released only to the adult with the matching numbered bookmark tag.
Parents check-out their child from the classroom immediately following the adult worship service. The child is released only to the adult with the pager or bookmark tag.
And…we want to know your child! We want to provide the best possible experience for your child while they are on our campus. The CCV Registration Profile Form provides helpful information for our Children’s Minister, the teachers and caregivers. Only one form is needed per family. Each classroom has a supply of these forms as well as the link on our website. Thank you!
